Who said glitter was just for Christmas?

***WARNING GIRLY POST ALERT***

So as a redhead you learn quite early which colours work for you and which don't. I'm here to tell you that SPARKLY GOLD EYELINER is one of those things that work. From looking at the endless magazines / instagram / we heart it posts, it's clear that glitter is massive right now - especially eyeshadow - but who can be bothered with that first thing in the morning? It is a rare occasion that I leave the house without my black-winged eyeliner but this Christmas I fancied something different.

There are so many expensive glittery eyeliners in loads of different colours, but I wasn't going to spend a fortune if it made me look like a clown...so I chose Collection's Glam Crystals (gel liner) for the whopping price of £2.99...and I LOVE IT. I bought the gold and the silver (wasn't brave enough for the really bright colours, but they also do green / pink / blue). I think the silver is fab for special occasions but the gold is subtle enough to wear everyday if you fancy something a little different.

Now, I'm terrible at being a girl when it comes to make up (we are not all born with the ability to effortlessly apply a smokey eye effect *curses those who can*), but I have experimented just enough to tell you that it looks nice on the top of your black eyeliner but also along the bottom of your eye under your eyelashes. The wand is thin enough to apply easily but it does take a little while to dry just FYI.

I love it so much that I might just wear it all year round! We don't have to wait for Christmas to add a bit of sparkle to our everyday.
