I don't know about you but it seems that I can barely go a day without someone referring to the colour of my hair. Whether it be to make fun of it, admire it or just to reference it in case they think I've forgotten what colour my hair is. Perhaps it's just the area of England that I live in where some local people (probably rejects from the Jeremy Kyle show), will wind down car windows and beep their horns just to shout "WAHEYYYY GINGER!!" ...Erm yeah no shit Sherlock. Does this happen everywhere or is it a British thing?
Certain parts of the world celebrate red hair! Giving us our own national days such as "hug a ginger day", claiming that we are lucky because of our MC1R gene mutation. Whereas others create "slap a ginger day" ...whatever floats your boat I guess.
People say "blondes have more fun" etc, but it is evident that whether good or bad, people tend to have strong emotions towards the notion of us copper-tops. So whether people love or loathe redheadedness - this blog is here to celebrate it! If you are a carrot-top yourself or simply a gingerphile, feel free to share your own stories / facts.
